Tasks Timeout Options

When running scheduled tasks (Task > Scheduled Tasks), it is possible for a task to end up in an infinite wait time (freeze) situation. To prevent this from happening, enter timeout values for SSH Key Exchange Timeout and Session Timeout in Administration > Options > Tasks.

SSH Key Exchange Timeout (seconds)

This timeout prevents an SSH Key Exchange session initiated by scripts, workflows, or archiving from an freeze. Enter a time to close the SSH session. The default is 30 seconds.

CAUTION:

Setting the value to zero means the freeze could potentially happen.

Session Timeout (seconds)

This timeout prevents an SSH session initiated by scripts, workflows, or archiving from an freeze. Enter a time to close the SSH session. The same caution applies to this parameter. The default is 30 seconds.
